The French Academy could point to a group of people and certify that they were all speaking excellent French. But it would not be the business or the duty of the Academy to suggest that they should also learn English or Chinese.
In the same way we look at your existing thinking and judge it with our existing thinking. So we never notice how incomplete and inadequate it is.
