Which areas really need some new thinking? It could be ‘pensions’. It could be ‘poverty’. It could be ‘terrorism’.
These areas may be new or emerging problems. There may be an area which is not new but where we feel that existing thinking – even if traditional – needs improving.
What should the priority target list be for ‘new thinking’?
Once a priority list has been established it might be possible to set up specific ‘task forces’ to collect, review and generate ideas about the issue.
