An enzyme is essential for many chemical interactions. Most of the chemical interactions in the human body depend on specific enzymes. The enzyme holds the chemicals taking part in the reaction in a certain way so that they can interact most effectively. The enzyme is a sort of scaffold where the chemicals meet and get together.
A new idea can work in exactly the same way. A new idea can put existing information together in a new way. This can result in a new perception, a new design or a new way forward.
Most education completely undervalues the role of new ideas. The impression is given that the way forward is created solely by new information.
